Paper Airplane Bench

The Paper Airplane bench is based on the classic format of 2 large planks resting on 2 simple blocks. Many times these are all made of wood, or wood and stone respectively. Wanting to create a fresh version of this classic, and with sustainability in mind, aluminum was the perfect direction. 
The Airplane bench was designed to evoke curiosity as much as a comfortable place to sit down. The slanted top surfaces shed water while also creating a cupped profile for the seat.
